Have You Felt the Same?
Have you felt the same?
I used to write all kinds of thoughts and feelings here and share whatever I wanted to share with the world.
Then I started feeling as if that 'fire' my soul has over the respective thought I write starts dimming and eventually fades away after I share it outside. Thus I no longer feel the exact same way.
For example, I got so angry after Anitha/NEET issue. But I felt putting down that feeling in writing will make me numb to feel anything about that issue later. So I kept all the anger inside. Likewise I have so much thoughts and feelings about many things but I keep it locked just to not lose the 'concern' after sharing outside.
Another easier example. If I keep writing about how much worse Chennai's water issue is about to get(Are we drinking the water that is rightfully ours?), eventually I won't even care about that 'urge' or 'concern' for the issue.
So I wanted to preserve the 'rawness' of that opinion/feeling and stopped writing anything.
As they aren't shared outside, thoughts keep accumulating, contradictions keep refining the original feeling and it burns so much brighter than when the thought originated. It feels as if it's a fuel to the soul that wants to shine.
Now, I can't even imagine losing those 'value added' feelings by writing it out. It's as if I lose the ownership of it. 🤣
I just wanted to know that do you feel the same way about your thoughts, feelings and writings?
If all of us feel the same way, then do we all become numb by writing and reading so many opinions? 🤔🤔
P.S: By 'writing', I mean just the normal writing. Don't take it in the 'writer' context.
I was even thinking about writing the above feeling for months. Didn't get the urge to share as if it's not ready or the right time hasn't come
