My inner child.
Why I built it
I keep fantasising about a fusion record with Meshuggah, chenda melam and thaarai thappattai, so I built a chenda simulator to play with the idea. It needs proper chenda samples to get better, and if you can help with that, coffee is on me.
A small joy. You stack drum, cymbal, and horn lines on a turning mandala and watch the rhythms interlock as polygons, then hit Rise to double the tempo from ceremony to frenzy. A quiet "show the math" lens reveals the beats and ratios underneath, for anyone curious how a chenda melam actually holds together.
