What it became
The prototype for Commute Impact, built and run entirely on Replit. This is the one where I learned to build with AI.
This was the first version of the idea, built for Chennai. People entered a real commute and saw what it actually cost them in time, money, and carbon. The data that came back was the story: most cars on the road carry exactly one person. It has since grown into the global Commute Impact Calculator.
What the data showed
Across 779 real journeys logged in the tool, 76.7% of cars carried one person.
